What we Collect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our archives gather photographs, personal papers, organizational records, oral histories, and rare artifacts that document more than a century of community life. Researchers, students, and families explore these collections in our reading room, which is open by appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a cultural institution, JHSD also offers lectures, exhibitions, and programs that connect Jewish Delawareans to their shared heritage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We encourage visitors to explore a rich collection of digital materials documenting Delaware’s Jewish history. Our digital archives include The Jewish Voice, The Y Recorder<\/em>, oral history collections, and the “Dear Mollye” Collection, a remarkable collection of letters from WWII service members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
